Applications are called for a Training of Trainer program in ECD in English medium to be
conducted as a two weeks residential training program in Colombo under Early Childhood Development
Project assisted by World Bank. This program will be conducted in collaboration with the resource
persons from National Institute of Education, Ministry of Health and Open University of Sri Lanka.
Project Management Unit of ECD Project organizes this TOT Program on ECD in English medium
during years of 2021/22. After the completion of this program, trainees need to provide their service
for 7-day training in ECD for In-service for preschool teachers island wide and resource fee will be paid
per hour basis as per the government rules and regulations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Sociology or Psychology or related discipline
  and
  Diploma in ECD or Advance Certificate in ECD and Primary Education or similar disciplines.

Experience

• At least one-year experience in ECD and Primary Education and Preschool Teacher Trainings.

Additional qualifications

• Proficiency and fluency in English language.
• Other Training in similar disciplines such as Health, Nutrition, Child Rights, Psychology and Counselling may be added
  qualification.
